Summary/Abstract: Product placement may be defined as showing a product in movies or television serials in its natural usage for the aim of advertisement. It's always been a very efficient way to introduce a product in movies within the regulatory rules that varies from country to country. Although it has started with movies, nowadays it is actively used by all visual media such as video games, television show and serials. As it is only possible to reach a limited group of people in cinemas, it is possible to reach a wider group and a longer duration with this media. Product placement in movies has also the advantage of showing the product used by the famous stars in that movie. Many people will assume that they are also using it in their daily life. This advertisement method also carries the advantage of to be shown in different channels and different countries again and again when the serials and movies are sold abroad. Apple takes place at the top levels of companies who are active in product placement advertisements. IPhone is their product that they advertise using this method.
