Summary/Abstract: An educational research was carried out in the High School of Mathematics and Natural Science of Veliko Turnovo. Scope of this research was the study of the theorems of Menelaus and Ceva and some of their applications in second level mathematics classes of ninth grade. This article describes the steps of this pedagogical research. The results of the students before and after teaching in the traditional way and teaching using a web-based dynamic learning environment are investigated and compared. Conclusions about the place and the role of the dynamic mathematical software in the mathematics education are given.
