Summary/Abstract: is diffi cult to fi nd a Hungarian press organization or a journalist in Transylvania, who wouldn’t like to write about the TIFF – the festival has grown in the past few years from national to international signifi cance and it pays special attention to the Hungarian film production. In my bachelor thesis, with the guidance of Tibori Szabó Zoltán and Jakab-Benke Nándor supervisors, I analyzed the press coverage of the TIFF between 2002 and 2009. The theme is particularly important to me, because I reported about the festival more times as an accredited journalist.
