Summary/Abstract: Cătălin Dorian Florescu is a special figure in confessional literary landscape. The author’s biographical data overlap, up to a point, those of the main character in the novel Vremea minunilor/The Time of Marvels. His superior intelligence, his refinement coming from simplicity and the joy of one in love with the words are obvious whether he talks about his relationship with the world, his motivation and passion for writing, his sources of inspiration or, simply, about himself.
