Summary/Abstract: The articla presents norms of a particular canon law concerning ecumanical relations, especially in matters of sacramental communion of Catholics with the Christians of other denominations. The author describes the specifics of the most important Churches operating in the territory of the Czech Republic. These are, besides the more numerous Catholic Church, the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren and the Czechoslovak Hussite Church. Between the Catholic Church and both of these Churches, treaties about the mutual acknowledgement of baptism were stipulated. In addition, the Czech Bishops’ Conference emanated norms on the possibilities of communicatio in sacris. These juridical arrangements serve to the development and intesification of an ecumenical relationship among the Churches, so urgently needed in the secularised czech society.
