Interpretation of the genre of liturgy in the works of contemporary Ukrainian composers: theoretical and methodological aspects

Summary/Abstract: There has been scrutinized the mechanism of implementation of genre interpretation process, defined the certain bounds of the genre in a composer’s activity and elucidated its role in the process of music genre transformation by the example of Liturgy of contemporary Ukrainian composers. Within the framework of this article the author gives a definition of the notion "Music genre interpretation", determines its factors (reasons), essential aspects and consequences (results).
