Summary/Abstract: Health systems in EU Member States are funded through public contributions or direct contributions. Each Member State has developed its own funding mechanisms. These funding systems are constantly undergoing changes as these countries are in constant evolution and change, both in terms of the disease profile and the resources needed for their healing and / or alleviation.
