Summary/Abstract: The text focuses on the reception of actions and writings of situationists (as experienced by Polish literature). Although situationists themselves have never desired to form a literary school, their later impact on art, including Polish, is undeniable. A chronological shift is typical for the Polish reception. When the movement was at its peak, it was practically non-existent in Poland and it seems that half a century after the cultural revolution in France the situationist thought is undergoing its renaissance. The text tracks the gradual rise in the importance of Debord's and Vaneigem's writings and their impact on Polish literary achievements (mainly poetry and critical thinking).
