Summary/Abstract: The article gives a concise historiography of religious and artistic life in Western Ukraine and the Volyn region, particularly in the period 1991-2011 years. Analyzes of experts, which in a certain day studied this question. We explain the importance of research of local authors for the development of national art-science, including and on sacred art.
