Summary/Abstract: The article reveals the features of dynamics of Smolensk coloristic in XVth – XVIIth centuries. Mechanisms of transformation of the color content of architecture are considered. The architecture of new erected constructions and their colour design is analysed. The documentary description of projects of coloristic of city buildings of this period is resulted.
