Summary/Abstract: The paper is an attempt to take a critical look on the decade of equality marches and the Equality and Tolerance Days in Poznań. Firstly, I draw attention to the need of building the herstory of the Poznań movement, which was based mostly on persons identifying themselves as women, non-heteronormative women, lesbians or queer persons. Secondly, I explain the values and strategy of the Equality and Tolerance Days by showing them in relation to the dominant identity politics. May this text be a reflection over what is going on with social movements when they do not cooperate with the mainstream.
