Summary/Abstract: Philosophic-culturological and aesthetic views of theorists of the spectacular culture (A. Banfi, R. Vipper, Y. Ratner, N. Khrenov, V. Kisin) about definition of concept of «spectacle» are considered in the article. The author analyzes and compares the classifications of spectacles and their functions contained in the writings of these scientists.
