PRODUCTION – AN OPPORTUNITY TO BALANCE THE EMPLOYMENT LEVEL IN ROMANIA

Summary/Abstract: The paper points out that production, as a complex economic activity, implies a balanced mix of production factors, especially labour and natural factors, which are abundant in Romania, but so far not fully exploited. There are also opportunities for major investment in equipment and machinery as well as for the horizontal development of industries, among which the food industry is the most visible one. We also deal with zones supposed to witness increasing employment, while competition could be an engine of economic growth for Romania. The contribution of the productive sector is very necessary for economic equilibrium, as social employment of the people benefits them both by the working time and by the incomes earned, as they help to increase to consumption of economic goods in a balanced way
