Summary/Abstract: The Belgrade Circle, formerly Belgrade Circle- Association of Independent Intellectuals, has been active in Belgrade since January 1992. The founding act stated that the primary concern of the Belgrade Circle is to promote the values of a democratic, civil, open and plural society through various public forums, open circulation of ideas and defense of independent creative activities.
