Summary/Abstract: Proposed to study the phenomenon of political will in the context of the political science study of personality, in particular through the consideration of the basic ideas of "self-concept" as important to clarify the issues of political will, political leadership and political power. The article presents an analysis of the main directions of research in the field of political will, political psychology.
