Summary/Abstract: This article deals with the relalions between Bulgaria and Yugoslavia since World War I until today. It traces in brief the much argued territorial problems before and after the signing of the of the Treaty of Neuilly - sur - Seine, the tension between the two states during World War II, the rapprochement that followed until 1948. the attempts for the incorporation of the Pirin region to FPR Yugoslavia.
