Dual–Use Products on the Market of the European Union

Summary/Abstract: This article aims at introducing the issue of dual–use goods in a widercontext of keeping balance between the adequate provision for market competitivenessand proper level of security. The contemporary world imposes strict requirementson the business entities concerning customer's service. A customerplacing an order expects the quickest delivery of product with reasonably limitedprocedures. It is not always possible to import from or export to any place all overthe world, even in the free–market economies. Regardless of all factors, counteractionfrom threats should always play a dominant role. Effective control of dual–usegoods transfer is in favor of the European Union, its member–states, economicentities as well as all citizens.
