Summary/Abstract: The accounting profession has an important employment area. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of professional accountants’ occupational commitment degree on their job satisfaction level. In this context, a questionnaire was applied to a total of 573 professional accountants working in Karabük, Zonguldak and Bartın. Firstly, the validity and reliability analyzes of the scales were carried out in the study. Multiple regression analysis was used to test of hypotheses following validity and reliability analyzes. As a result of the study, it was determined that occupational commitment had a positive and meaningful effect on internal job satisfaction, external job satisfaction and general job satisfaction. It has also been found that the effect of occupational commitment on internal job satisfaction is stronger than its effect on external job satisfaction.
