About the Cultural Habits of High School Students in the North-Hungarian Region

Summary/Abstract: The aim of our research, led in 2014, was to investigate the factors infl uencing the school achievement. Our investigationtook place into the center of the North Hungarian region, and was justifi ed by several circumstances. Our research wasconducted in the center of the North Hungarian region, in Miskolc. The region has one of the worst domestic competency testresults, so we considered it important to look at the family background and cultural habits of Miskolc students, that have animpact on their school performance.
