Summary/Abstract: The issue of jurisdiction is very topical in International Law. Moreover, very often it is an essential question in a certain dispute. Cross-border actions raise many problems when it comes to the actual exercise of the jurisdiction. This is characteristic of both, the jurisprudence of international and national courts. Therefore, this paper aims to provide the overview of the several jurisdictional problems in International Law. The list of issues elaborated in the paper is not exhaustive, however, the authors decided to emphasize some very specific facets of jurisdiction. After the general remarks, the first question is dedicated to the objective territorial principle as a basis for jurisdiction. The second issue relates to the effects doctrine, as the very specific jurisdictional principle. Finally, there is an observation of the problem of jurisdiction in regard to the cyber-crimes.
