Summary/Abstract: Back in the Second Constitutional Era, district of Bodrum was very far away from the Aydın province center. In those days, three important newspapers in İzmir stood out which published news and comments about Aydın province's various units, those were: Hizmet, Ahenk, and İttihad. Those newspapers' issues which were published after the re-establishment of Constitutional Monarchy were scanned and those which were related to Bodrum have been compiled. The information about the period which starts around the mid-1908 and ends around late 1910 was discussed under nine different titles. These titles were based on the subject. Every title includes, with their respective assessments, the developments or news which made their ways into the media. News and announcements in newspapers of Izmir regarding Bodrum had the topic of Bodrum prison as their most popular topic. News about assignment of civil servants and officers ranked second. These were followed by such topics as smuggling incidents, Bodrum harbor, animal diseases, security news, and aid campaigns. This article compiles and evaluates the aforementioned developments found in the newspapers and tries to contribute to the recent history of Bodrum.
