Russian intelligentsia: education as a factor of a civic stand formation

Summary/Abstract: The article considers the problem of a civic stand of Russian intelligentsia in which basic criterion of definition of the high educational level is used. It is revealed that big extent of manifestation of civil qualities and participation in public practicing is characteristic of the most educated group of the population. At the same time the analysis has shown that the educational capital of this social category is poorly implemented in creation of real strategy of an active civic stand in society.
