Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with changes in the unemployment rate in Poland. The analysis of unemployment, covering the period of 2008 to 2016, is based on the statistical data, including registered unemployment, the unemployed with a specific situation on the labour market, the duration of being unemployed, age groups, levels of educational attainment, as well as the length of service.
