Summary/Abstract: The investigation by composer and theorist of music S. Liudkevych of questions of the music aesthetics on the base of the main constituent music elements: tone, melody, polyphony, harmony, rhythm is considered. The significance of his study in the development of the national conception of recipient aesthetics is stressed.
