Summary/Abstract: In recent years we have witnessed the rise of web tools that allow Internet users to create and distribute multimedia information. These instruments – Web 2.0 technologies – applications can be viewed as tools of mass collaboration. The paper discusses the advantages and disadvantages of some of the online communication channels which are used in the tourism sector.
