Summary/Abstract: The essay examines the truthfulness of terminology: the meaning, interrelations and misuse of concepts meant to disguise anti-humanistic intentions or to devalue the potential of humanism in the ideas related to the terms. It discusses the connection of pedagogy and education to politics and their interaction in the perception of reality and understanding of man. Above all, it emphasizes the interrelations of world politics and apparently innocent and non-politicized areas of human activities such as education, yet it also follows the tradition of similar practices through the history of Western civilization.
