Pedagogical Support of the Children’s Spiritual Development in the Aspect of their Integral Health

Summary/Abstract: In all the multidimensionality of his nature, man is a bio-psycho-socio-spiritual being. Development of all the spheres of human nature is an integral condition of his health. In this context, the purpose of this article is to encourage pedagogical reflection on the marginalized area of children’s spiritual growth, which in fact is the most important factor in the integrated child development. The author’s intention is to direct the attention of adults to the specific characteristics of the child, as well as to raise the awareness of the need of not only taking them into account in conducting childhood educational activities, but also of treating them with attention and concern because of their importance for the future, full development, health and wellbeing of man.
