Summary/Abstract: The article studies the activity of the first higher educational theological institution on the territory of Ukraine – Kyiv Theological Academy training the staff for churches of Universal Orthodoxy. The main problem is the studying at the Academy of foreign students from the countries of Balkan Peninsula. These countries during the period of XIX-th early XX-th century took the road of national spiritual revival.
