Summary/Abstract: In the following, the concept of "civil society" in the sense of the opposition movement during the period of communist rule will be used, in order to better understand the development of today's civil society as an active player in Romania. It sheds light on the difficulties associated with the formation and consolidation of an intact "civil society" in Romania. On the one hand, this should clarify the state of development of the democratic constitution of the Romanian citizens and, on the other hand, identify the problems that confront today's Romanian civil society.
