Summary/Abstract: The Slavonic text of „Oration about the advent of Christ”, on which is dedicated this article is found in manuscript №11, in the Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius, dating back to the end of ХІV. The name of the manuscript is „Златая цепь / Zlataya tsepj”. Two Greek sources were found, which were considered in the offered edition of the oration. The oration is accepted as a work created on Slavonic ground.
