Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with a bureaucratic career history of a professional clerk (Muhamed ef. Kadić) who served in three administrative and political entities which subsequently ruled the region – the Ottoman Empire, the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy, and the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes.
