Summary/Abstract: Traditional grammar defines attribute as an addition in sentence, as non-self-contained part of sentence which doesn't belong in basic sentence structure. Attribute is the part of sentence which defines closer or narrows down semantic extent of substansive word, so it can be better determinated. Depending of types of word which are used, and depending of their relation in sentence, atributte can be congruent and incongruent. Congruent atributte has the same grammatical category as the main word in sentence and it is ususally expresses with adjective words. On the other side, incongruent atributte doesn't follow those grammatical categories of main word in sentence. Incongruent atributte is expressed with functionally transformed substantive word, or, rarely, adverbial word. Incongruent atributte in Bosnian language will be described in this paper.
