Summary/Abstract: This paper is devoted to the study of linguistic associations. Revealing ethnic, cultural, historical and spiritual values of a nation, they become an important source of knowledge. Results of the association tests using linguistic data collected from the Russian media of the last twenty years show that this method is capable of constructing a hierarchy of the Russian cultural values.
