Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to showcase the role of education in the process of forming positive values in the Ukrainian society. The author concludes that instilling in prospective teachers the ability to re-enact and cultivate national and cultural traditions, shaping their moral values as well as encouraging individual and personal approaches to teaching constitute the necessary conditions that are indispensable to the proper and well-rounded education of future teaching professionals.
