Summary/Abstract: The formation of specific gatherings of artists, usually called the Art Colony, goes historically to the very beginning of the twentieth century, mapping the regions inhabited by the population of our vocabulary. The establishment and operations of such associations has enriched the social and cultural life of each region, and the collections of artworks have become the core that in coming times will enrich the national cultural system and become the subject of expert analysis and valorization. In the 1980s Bosnia and Herzegovina joined this system of collecting art exhibits, and for four decades it became richer for a very large number of artworks with different qualitative values. So far, little attention has been paid to systematic engagement and regulation of this area, and this work aims to activate the professional public so that in the coming years this process would be moved from a point.
