Summary/Abstract: The writing skills of university students are a matter of increasing interest. This interest is testified to various studies and operational researches in the European and international research landscape. In this paper We present a reflection based on the first results of a research on writing of students in “Education and Training Science”, “Sapienza” University of Rome, from academic year 2011/2012 to academic year 2015/2016. Teachability of writing and – therefore – importance of education are our theoretical starting points.
