Summary/Abstract: This article is an attempt to analyze late poems of Ryszard Krynicki. The author focuses on Haiku. Haiku Mistrzów [Haiku. Haiku of masters] – Krynicki’s last collection of poems. In addition, the article describes the influence of the Japanese traditions on Polish poems.The author deals with such subjects as: silence in poems of Ryszard Krynicki, the philosophy ofZen Buddhism, Polish and Japanese haiku, metaphysics.
