Summary/Abstract: This studied the assessment issue of the victory achievement in the Gulf War in 1990 – 1991. A broad spectrum of opinions and contradictions on victory results in the war against Iraq for liberation of Kuwait as well as geopolitical consequences for the USA, the Great Britain and the Persian Gulf states has been examined. The main trends and key differences in approaches of American and British authors were discovered.
