Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the studies of the famous Polish historian Tadeush Voytsekhovskyy (1838 – 1919), who was working in the Lviv University in 1875-1919 years. Based on the archive materials and published works of the scientists, it was proved that the main directions of his medievalist researches were the ethnical history of the Slavonic tribes, the history of the medieval culture, the religious and the socialpolitical life of the Polish Republic in the 9 – 11 century, the religious and the artistic life, and also the analysis of the basis during the period of the Pyastiv dynasty.
