Summary/Abstract: In the rich collection of publications of the 19th century in the library of Vilnius University there are many books with autographs. It's about one of them. It contains not only the autograph of the author - a gift inscription, but also a lengthy entry of the addressee. These materials, which seem to be remarkable for the history of Russian culture, have not yet been introduced into scientific circulation, which has determined the present publication.
