Summary/Abstract: Starting from the conclusion that the formal acceptance of the codified variety is captured through intermediaries and authorities such as the government, the education system, mass media, religious institutions and cultural establishment (Fishman) the research "Language Variety of Albanian Parliaments - Similarities and Differences" focuses on the study of the spoken varieties of standard Albanian by the assembly members of the latest legislation of the two Albanian governments, that of Albania and Kosova. As an important institution of the state, the assembly has an impact on the development and diffusion of the standard language variety. This impact is noted in Albania and in Kosovo. Developments are not always the same, thus this research seeks to highlight the similarities and differences in the development and dissemination of this variety by the assembly institution. The focus of the research is the lexical choices, styles, and registers used by parliamentarians of both countries. These structures are explored in different language situations in use of standard varieties and other varieties that arise in the discourse of the Albanian and Kosovo parliamentarians, clearly identifying the administration language. The research is unsystematic and random, while its realization supports empirical easurements in the field of sociolinguistics.
