Summary/Abstract: One of the most important battles of the Turkish history, Battle of Gallipoli aroused interest from all over the World. With the permission of Ottoman Goverment lots of journalists went to the war zone to observe the war. Granville Fortescue was one of them. He started working as a journalist after leaving the army. During the war he went to Gallipoli and made many observations and also took lots of notes. When he get back to London he wrote a book based on his observations and notes.
