Summary/Abstract: There are persistent trends in the labor market in terms of increasing the number of self-employed people, which puts in the forefront the need to more fully ensure their material security. The subject of this study is the minimum standards for social security protection of self-employed persons established in international acts, as well as the applicable coordination rules in the presence of an international element in the insurance relationship.
