The processing of the baroque spiritual song as a sphere of interest of composers of the "new school" of Ukrainian church music of the first third of the twentieth century (to the training course "Choroscience")

Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the study and its introduction into the study process certain selective sacred songs in the elaboration of Ukrainian composers (V. Matjuk, M. Lysenko, P. Demuc’kyj, K. Stecenko and other). Particular stress is put on the sad fact that to the study of Ukrainian sacred song in the Ukrainian scholarly thought still insufficient attention is paid.
