UDHA E FIGURIMIT POETIK TË BASRI ÇAPRIQIT
THE PATH OF BASRI ÇAPRIQI’S POETIC FIGURATION

Summary/Abstract: Through his verse Basri Çapriqi effectuates the poetry of the preeminence of the literary figure, mainly in its symbolic, ironic and paradoxical dimensions, in order to simultaneously realize intertextual themes through poetry, endowing the Albanian literature in Kosovo with a model that that is not that “fervent”, but is quite becoming in its coolness. Therefore, it may be emphasized that if Basri Çapriqi’s early poetic works brought forth the poetics of the sea or the warmth of verse from the sea, his poetry of the 1990s is suggestive by its amalgam of figures which inevitably lead to ideas. It is no surprise, therefore, that Basri Çapriqi achieves this through latent figuration and not by a pompous poetic rhetoric.
