Summary/Abstract: This article was prepared on the basis of a survey of CIOP-PIB’s library resources covering the years 2000–2016. It presents publications on threats, methods of risk assessment and guidelines for safe operation of librarians in the work environment. In addition to Polish references, Scopus, an abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature, was searched for Polish and foreign articles indexed in that database.
