Summary/Abstract: The features of competitive and festival worldwide movements are compared in the article; it traces an evolution of the art project International music festival “Virtuosos of Рlanet”; introduced the concept “competitive and festival movement’s connector”; an impact of Kyiv music festivals on formation of Kyiv artistic environment is proved.
