Summary/Abstract: The article deals with some questions of the development of the Dnipropetrovsk piano school. It characterizes the professional work of M.I. Gordon a famous pianist, the lecturer of Dnipropetrovsk musical college of M.I. Glinka of the second half of XX century. Her methods of teaching are studied as following the creative basis of L. Lukomskiy and A. Shatckets – the students and followers of M.K. Metner.
