Appositive Structures at Sentence Level. Theoretical Approach

Summary/Abstract: In this article, I intend to discuss, from a theoretical point of view, the problem of the taxonomies of the apposition. Regarding the internal taxonomies of this syntactical function, from the point of view of its structures, in the Romanian syntax, the apposition has received semantically descriptions due to the fact that a lot of linguists consider this function not a syntactical, but semantic one. This fact is reflected in most recent and important grammar papers and has become an axiom. Revisiting the important theories about the mechanism of producing syntactic functions, a different theoretically approach based on combination between the base and the apposition itself is proposed; such an approach leads us to infer a very precise description of the apposition at the sentence level. The description is done from a structuralist point of view and the result is exhaustive and accurate. This possibility is proper for the others unities which have the possibilities to be base and apposition, but this description requires a large space and also a validation through examples.
