Efficiency of the functioning of the public procurement system in Poland.

Summary/Abstract: This article concerns the economic efficiency of public procurement law. The market of public procurement in Poland compared to other European Union countries and economic conditions influencing the management of public property were analyzed. It was pointed out that the efficiency of the public procurement system itself depended on correct and effective legal solutions that directly affected the situation of entities taking part in public procurement procedures. The study points out that the efficiency of the public procurement market in Poland is related to the selection of the most advantageous offer. The importance of this choice in the public procurement procedure in Poland was indicated. The most important legal institutions from the point of view of economic mechanisms and their influence on the economic situation of the state were pointed out.
